Focus and Scope

SLOVO Journal is an interdisciplinary academic journal of Russian, Post-Soviet, Central & East European affairs.

We are published online twice a year and are edited and managed by postgraduate students of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London.

Peer reviewers aid the Editorial Board to determine the suitability of submitted works.

We consider contributions in the fields of political science, international relations, anthropology, history, sociology and culture.

Peer Review Process

A minimum of two peer reviers are assigned to each article.

The process of assigning peer reviers and final decisions being taken with each article are set by the Editorial Board.

Final decisions about book and film reviews are taken by the respective Book and Film Review Editors.

Other forms of submissions that fall outside of the conventional are considered by the Executive Editor.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
